Job Description
ClayForge is a leading manufacturer of porcelain and stoneware tile products supplying the UK and European commercial fit-out market. We are hiring a Glaze Technician to work in our R&D and production quality department.
You will be responsible for glaze batch preparation, line quality control, colour matching to target samples, and maintaining the glaze lab. You will work closely with the production manager and report to the Head of R&D.
Requirements
- HNC/HND or degree in ceramics, materials science, or chemistry
- 2+ years glaze laboratory experience in a production environment
- Familiarity with XRF analysis and particle size testing is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and documentation habits
- UK driving licence preferred (site visits to suppliers)
